America: How long will we remain capitalist?
In our ever changing world, cultures and ideals change as the peoples needs become different. Currently the United States is extremely materialistic and lives to work. It seem our only goal in life is to buy flashy items to somehow show off to the people we interact with daily, but there's something that isn't working, we're becoming a very sad nation. Happiness can be a very powerful emotion and the people in Europe have been finding this more important than possessing objects. Within the near future the United States will hit the threshold and we will change from a live to work nation to a work to live. Take a look at Finland or Denmark. Do you think there's a reason they're some of the happiest country on earth? They don't have to worry about a declining infrastructure, or about going bankrupt because of a greedy medical system. When Americans realized taxes can be a good thing and spending the extra money on good and services produced and provided by their own country then we can finally make a step in the positive direction.

Illinois Concealed Carry
Well that time has finally came will Illinois will (soon) give its population the ability to carry a concealed weapon. Now I think if a person wants to carry a gun and has the adequate training they should be able to but the fact is this: the point of this law isn't to get people to carry weapons, it's to make the people who are illegally carrying weapons with the purpose of committing a crime think twice about doing something as there might be someone around who can legally take them out. This law will hopefully make some people think twice.

Just a random thought. Took me 35 mins to write the 359 words that define my life.
(please pause after each sentence to think about what it says exactly.) Think of yourself sitting in your chair. Now think about every event in your day until this exact moment. Now think of a neighbor you know from a friends or roommates from a description but you have never meet this person(i.e. landlord, cousin, brother, etc). Now think of what they did exactly today. Maybe they got up early, worked out, went to work, whatever. Now think of all the people that live on your street. The actual number(parents, children, friends). Now think of all the people in your block or neighborhood. That's a huge number for the mind to comprehend but it's such a small number when it comes to the number in your city, state, country, planet, universe. Each life effects each others lives yet they we are completely insignificant to the vast number of people, not to mention the extreme number of people that have died yet have no importance to our lives. It's pretty sad how small and unimportant our lives are and it really makes me think the only way to live is from day to day, year to year, and help as many people and gain as many friendships as we possible can. That is truly the meaning of life. Friends, families, memories, and being a person that goes out of the way to help anyone regardless of what they look like. Simple gestures such as holding the door open for the person walking behind you, or slowing down in your car or stopping for a second to let the person on the street parallel park. A person sould care about everyone in their world because when it comes down to it, if your rich or poor, one day you will die. It may be from a gun shot or a heart attack. Once your dead, all that money is your account is gone. memories - gone. Everything. Gone. Please, forgive, forget, move on, say your sorry, regain a friendship, a family member... whoever... wherever... Life is literally so short whatever you do it comes down to being someone that enjoys each action they do and the people the come in contact with. FUCK
